First things first!
Thank you so much to all of the MK teens, staff, supporters and prayer team for making this past week possible and so amazing! Many of the teens have said that this was the best MK event yet, and I am extremely grateful to everyone who made it happen!
Special thanks are due to the amazing staff we had this year! Russell did a wonderful job running the games. Tish, Jim and Teresa did an incredible job with the food. Wes Williamson blessed us immensely with his lessons, plus his help leading worship. Breanne and Ella lead worship beautifully. And Cindy and my dad helped out so much by plugging in where needed (grocery shopping, talking/praying with the teens, fixing stuff, making sure everyone got to bed on time, etc...). Thank you so much for giving up so much of your time for these MK teens!
Praising God for an amazing and successful retreat!

One of the most fun parts for planning the MK Youth Retreat each year is testing out that crafts to see if they'll work and what we might need. If all I had to do for the retreat was plan and test the crafts I would be one very happy camper. I LOVE this job!
This year's crafts will be metal stamping (which was such a big success late year that we decided to repeat it again) and wood burning.
Here are the finished produces of my test run for the wood burning. Didn't they come out beautifully?!?
*(The wood of a few of these is a bit stained, but we plan on having nicers pieces of wood for the actual event)

Nubia and I found this very, very unwelcome house guest just outside the kitchen door.
Eww! Eww! Eww! And it was over 4 inches long when all stretched out!
It doesn't matter how long you've lived in Honduras, this is still gross and scary!

This past weekend I had the privilege of serving as staff at the Honduran Fellowship of Missionaries and Ministries' Retreat 2016! Over 200 missionaries from all over the country attended, along with around 90 MKs!
Here I am, along with some new friends, working at the registration table.
Some of the MKs helping their mom run the sign up table for all of the workshops.

The conference was amazing and many went away feeling refreshed and ready to serve our Lord with new strength! What a blessing it is to have such events.
